New Year and New Things

2025 was indeed a strange year. I was laid off from my daytime job in August and I decided that since I already owned a business with actual permits and licenses, that I should just hit the road selling cheese. And I've been doing that for the past four months. It's been a sharp learning curve, albeit a fun and exciting one! It's lovely to wake up every day to work really hard for yourself. Stressful, too, yes! But thank you to everyone who has come out to support the mobile cheese shop, not just financially, but also thank you for your interactions and fun chats. The world is kind of rough right now and it's been great to meet and talk with SO MANY nice people every day, keeping me grounded. Italian tours are still on, don't worry. They are on hold for a wee bit until I get my feet more on the ground here in Redwood City! Now on to the fun announcements:

Find me on January16th at Fireside Books in Redwood City from 11:30 to 3:00pm. The weather will be really nice so go for a stroll, browse some books, and buy some cheese for the weekend!

Saturday January 17th I'll be at La Honda Winery in Redwood City from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. It's open tasting day which is free for members and $10 for non members. It's one of my favorite spots with a very cool crowd and great wine. Lovely people hang out here!

You can also find me regularly at three farmer's markets: Kaiser Redwood City Tuesdays, Foster City Saturdays, Downtown San Mateo Sundays. Check our Instagram for updates on those.

I've got a few more things in the works TBA. My cheese truck Marge is also available for events and pop ups near and around Redwood City. We are open to all kinds of events.

Thank you again!

Georgette and Marge
